Since the Westlock Airport will be undergoing substantial renovations this summer (resurfacing the runway and installing lighting), the Westlock Flying Club has had to make the difficult decision to not hold a fly-in breakfast this year. We simply do not know what the status of the airport will be at the time we would normally hold the event, other than it would very likely occur right in the middle of the construction and upgrades.
Instead, we are hoping to hold an “Grand Reopening” event perhaps in the fall when the project is complete (more details to come), so please consider visiting us then!
